"I see lots here of which I enjoy"

I seldom write reviews of movies simply cause I've got little to say, but I had to at least write something about your movie. I have yet to see the other episodes and I know its quite stupid to start at the end.. but sinse it was the only avalible on the portal at this moment it would work as a great introduction to it.
It seems you've read a lot of both comics and books.. I see a lot in this episodes of which I can remember from books that I've read. You have a keen sense of humor shown with sarcasm twards your own characters and story line. Also nice touch with including death into this.. a character I've learned to love through the books of Terry Pratchett.

Keep it up. I'm gonna watch the other episodes now.. take care

"A classic example"

I wanto start off by telling how good this movie is.. the time spendt on is was well worth the result.. and what I'm about to say is not meant as a bad thing. This movie is a great example where the quality of the artwork itself must take a dive for the quality of the animation... some times that is bad.. you often see it the most in the differance between anime weekly series and the released movies. In this movie.. taking a dive for the animation was a good thing as in most of your previous work.. Sinse your animation skill is supirb.. letting the movie have flow and feeling.. the lack of detail really didnt cross ones mind.. besides.. you've made this into style.. and with high light contrast and animation in the light source you've created a atmosphere which will be manily what the movie will be remembered for.. atleast for my part.

Bottom line, this is one of the movies on newgrounds that show what people can do in short time with a few extra frames, nice contrasts and a good sent for animation.

"Trees dont have blood.. but"

A very nice move indeed.. and when I first saw the tree.. I was hoping you where about to make this point. Earlier review: "They dont have blood either.". of course they dont.. but how else chould one prove the point.. People has a hard time seeing how trees actually get hurt when you kut the bark.. so the only way to make one see is to give it human features..

"It was a ok start for the NG:Battle Ground."

I'm not gonna vote for anyone here.. sinse its hard for me to judge anything..
it was a ok start for the NewGrounds: Battle Grounds even though you guys should really have used the prescreen presented in the thread.. to make it feel more like a battle. As I said it was a ok start.. but I kinda feel if you guys had set a later deadline.. it might have turned out quite differently.. it feels like a rather speedy entry.. but as said in the Authors comments.. the time was limited for other reasons as well..

It was a good start, and I hope both of you continue in future battles.

"A wonderfull visual story"

I seldom write reviews cause there are few times movies actually move me in any way here at newgrounds. But your movie has got it all.. great imagery, a nice little fantasy story.. and ofcourse apmospheric sound and music. I'm gonna keep this short and just tell you great job, and hoping to see a lot more from you in the future both on the big screen and here on the flash medium. Good luck to you :)

"A whole new pixle standard"

You have without doubt set a new standard for pixle/game animation.. everything you do animation wise is top quality.
The story is nice as well.. and includence of different characters (spc. from exitebike) was a nice addition.. more different sort of characters is wanted in addition episodes..

"Quite Nice :D"

I like this movie a lot, it had most of what we should expect from a high quality flash cartoon these days.. one thing though.. you're good at 3/4 face angles.. so dont destroy your movie with profile shots.. they just make everything else including the face look flat and not very dynamic.
try making you're movie more dynamic by adding some extreme angles.. (the ones you had where great!)

Other then that it was a work of art, no doubt about it..

PS: you're lucky to have a Wacom drawing panel.. they're expencive as hell!
